OVERVIEW

This Higher Diploma in Digital Technology (HDDT) is offered by National Apprentice and Industrial Training Authority (NAITA) in collaboration with Federation of Information Technology Industry Sri Lanka (FITIS) .

Main objective of HDDT programme is to bridge the skills gap between the ICT education programmes and industry demands, and thereby produce competent IT professionals who are equipped not only with up-to-date knowledge but also with soft skills such as communication skills, presentation skills, technical writing skills, problem solving and team working skills, creative thinking skills, data acquisition skills required by the industry. HDDT programme also creates different pathways for students to specialize based on industry demand and finally to obtain a degree while working.

Semester 1 (6 months)
